ERIKA: I am a desktop compositor and interior book designer as well as a certified event planner. Reading, travel, weddings, country music, and all things Disney are some of my all time favorite things.
EDGARS: I am a general contractor with specializations in electrical, plumbing and carpentry areas.
US: Edgars and I started Our Tale As Old As Time to share our love of travel. We wanted to create a platform where we share our favorite places and things to do at those places. So often when at a new place we are on social media trying to find hidden gems of the area and Our Tale As Old As Time was a way for us to showcase our adventures and favorite finds whether it be a cool hotel, restaurant, or locations.
From our first post, we made a pact to be real with all of you. If we love something you’re going to know and if we aren’t feeling something we’re going to let you know. That goes for our traveling as well as things that pertain to our general lifestyle which with us could be home projects, books and even gardening.. We pride ourselves on being honest especially in a time where social media can mask that. I for one used to be on social media and wonder how so many people’s lives looked so perfect. Then when we started Our Tale As Old As Time we realized how quickly things can look like that. On Our Tale As Old As Time, we share our favorite memories of places, but when you view our Instagram stories you’ll get to see more of real life and that is something we want to continue.
